Starbucks Coffee And A Giveaway!

Dear Mom,
It has been over a year since I became one of these.
While I am still incredibly spoiled, it has been much harder than I thought making the transition to a real working Mom.  I stay home during the days so I am always available for my children if they are sick, have orthodontist appointments, snow days, spring breaks and summer vacations.  But I am gone several evenings each week and I miss cooking big meals, attending to homework, tucking and kissing "babies" into bed.
I have earned a promotion to shift manager, I have great insurance for the family, I have a 401(k) plan that I can call my own, I can make a fabulous doppio espresso wherever I may be, and I have so many invaluable friendships that I would have missed out on otherwise.  I have also learned that, even at the age of 44, I can still learn a new "trade" (yes, you can teach an old dog new tricks!); I can draw from inner strength that I didn't even know I had and I can still make each day new, fun and full of love and laughter!

(Photo montage courtesy of iPhone---not the greatest quality but I do have lots of fun!)

In honor of Starbucks, coffee lovers and personal growth---a giveaway!!  I don't think we've ever had a giveaway on our blog and I'd like to start!!  (Bonnie Jo's win inspired me!!!)  :-)
Leave a coffee comment and I will randomly choose someone next Sunday afternoon (April 17th) to receive 1 pound of Starbucks Anniversary Blend coffee and probably some other Starbucks goodies and surprises!!
Good Luck!
Love,
Wendy

If I had a pound of Starbucks coffee I would give it to my co-worker Nick. He has to have it every day. And he drags me along with him when we are traveling together (not that I mind, I love Starbucks too).

Life is too short to drink bad coffee....only choose Starbucks coffee to fill your cup/mug/thermos. Yum!

A Starbucks gift certificate is a wonderful gift--especially from my friend to me for my flights thru airports. Thoughtful, wonderful, & delicious!

I always knit faster with a Starbucks (or two)....which would not be difficult, as I am the slowest knitter on the planet!

Sipping my soy latte made with Starbucks "pod" in my own cappuchino maker as I read this. I had totally forgotten that year ago post. There is a Starbucks in Atlanta that I visit on a quite irregular schedule, like every two or three months for several days in a row. They REMEMBER me! and it is like two blocks off Peachtree and they have a zillion customers. Starbucks is the new corner bar.
And did you read the book? whose name escapes me?

Coffee, I enjoy at least 3 or 4 cups of Starbucks finest every morning when I wake up.

Somedays and Whendays are always best with a cup of coffee with the ones you Love.

fun! Starbucks is our home-away-from-home when we travel. i look on my maps to find local business and map our way into and back out of whatever city it is (Bozeman, Souix Falls, Tulsa). it is so nice to have coffee and treats to count on. neat that you get to work there. :o)

We are a card-carrying Starbucks family and this would elevate my standing with my son and sons-in-law who are absolute FIENDS. After coming in last in the family NCAA picks I could use some elevation.

If the goodies included chocolate covered beans I would make your chocolate chip cookie recipe so fast it would make your blog spin. That would elevate me to dizzying new heights... if I shared them. :)
