Warmed Hearts

Dear Mom,

I spent a rare and wonderful afternoon with my dear friend, Audrey Kay. We drank fancy hot chocolate.

Audrey Kay crocheted like a woman on a mission (she is!) and I knitted (not so much on a mission).We giggled and talked. We talked and giggled. We pretty much solved all of life's problems. And then we went home to cook dinner.

Dear Mom,

The outside temp this morning is 2 below. Too below normal, I say.




Last night before dinner, The Young Lady blew bubbles to see if they would freeze.





And then we came in to have one of her all time favorite dinners. Look familiar??
