Oh this is funny! I have 25 lovely ladies who should be laying in the fall. My dh and I are in the process of building nesting boxes for the girls. It's gonna be a 9 holer and completely a make-do masterpiece! Do you know if banties need the same layout as the big girls? We have them segregated so no one gets hurt. Thanks, Elaine
Elaine, banties will do fine with standard-size nest boxes. My nesting box is actually a bit on the large side, which makes it easy for the girls to share. It is so much fun to anticipate the first egg! I would love to see a picture of your ladies...send me an email! Bonnie Jo
