Meg isn't feeling well, so I invited her to come inside. I asked her if she would wash windows and dust the furniture, but she said she was too weak and tired.
She is sleeping too much and not eating enough. She's losing weight. I think she has dreams of becoming a skinny, supermodel, calendar chicken.
She's trying to talk me into polishing her toenails. There's nothing like a pedicure to help a gal feel better!
The best I can do is give her warmth and comfort. I hope my Meggie gets well soon...I just love this little chicken!
Love, Bonnie Jo

I found your blog a couple of days ago and have enjoyed reading but have to thank you for the story and picture of Meggie! She looks just like my little Toot-toot who was raised from a baby with a baby rabbit and I just loved them both. They were inseparable and Toot-toot was a sweetie just like your Meg....I hope she gets well soon.
Let Meg know that all her four-legged cousins are wishing her well, and her Aunt Kim is worried about her. I hope she just has a bad case of Spring Fever like I do.
Miss Meggie is beautiful. What a lucky girl to have you to take such loving care of her.
We are all sending Meg all of the "get well soon" vibes we can :) She is a special little chicken to our family... Suzy and the Gang
I don't know chickens at all, but she looks like she's patterned after a slab of granite. Quite a looker!
