Lots and lots and lots of knitting here, but I did finish a sewing project.
Schoolhouse Tunic from Sew Liberated. I was able to start and finish this in a day. It took me about 9 months to work up the courage to actually start it, though. Lately most of my sewing attempts have left me vowing to Lift the Presser Foot and Back Away from the Machine. Thankfully, this pattern, the instructions and the final result have restored my faith in my sewing skills. My Home Ec teachers, Mrs. Roos and Mrs. Goodwin, would be proud.
I have fabric for another tunic. And plans for others after that....I can't stop thinking about repurposing an old lace tablecloth as the fabric for one of these- wouldn't that be a pretty summer tunic?
More ideas than time.
