I love the picture of Your Young Man and Bumper. "Kindergarden to Graduation Dog"...this is how I will always remember Your Bumper. He WAS good for great stories, usually about things he ate but shouldn't have. i.e. kleenex, gifts of cookies and other assorted goodies. In heaven he can eat all he wants and never get scolded or sick. Dog Heaven must be a very playful and busy place these days.
Oh my goodness, you've said he was nearing the end, but it's still a shock to know he's gone. I'm so sorry! It must be very hard for your kids--he was a part of pour home for most of their lives, wasn't he.
I love that last photo. Makes me cry. PLEASE tell the story of the middle one sometime.

Oh, I feel your dog sadness. Hug Olive and know your doggies loved you.

Rest in peace Bumper Joseph. You made me laugh so much over the years!
He was quite The Dog. Bumper left us with some great memories, didn't he?!
This has been such a sad summer for you pet-wise. I'm so sorry for your grief. In the end, memories are all we have of anything.

I'm so sorry, Kim. This was a summer of "life must go on" for many of us. I'm so glad you've got your Olive to help you through this rough patch.
