Knee high by the 4th of July

Dear Mom,

My corn is definitely knee high- well before the 4th of July!

And the tomato plants I started from seed are healthy and filled with blossoms.

My cabbage is coming along nicely.

And we have romaine lettuce to eat, the bean plants look healthy.

Can't wait to start harvesting some home grown veggies!

Love,
Kim

Mmmm, fresh vegetables. Your lucky to have such an ample space for your veggies. Fresh romaine is a favorite of mine. Enjoy your harvest!

Your corn looks better than most of the farmers' cornfields around here!

You're way ahead of me. I haven't even planted corn yet. So far, the Swiss chard is the success story in my garden. Cabbage, broccoli, romaine are finished already. Your garden looks great.

That will be the best sweet corn you've ever tasted. My garden isn't doing so well. I'm gearing up for a fall crop though.

jealous, no other word for it.
I get plenty of fresh corn at the farmer's market but have it on good authority that to set the pot boiling and then to pick it and clean it on the way to the house is the ultimate! just plain jealous
