I was a little bit disappointed to see that Golda's egg did not contain a double yolk, although it was so large it nearly filled an 8-inch pan!
I had a fabulous egg sandwich for breakfast this morning!

I thought it would be a double yolker too.
I'm kind of disappointed. I thought there would be a gold nugget in it like in the Million Dollar Duck. Or a dinosaur would hatch out like in the book "The Enormous Egg". At least you had a hearty breakfast!

Wow! Don't you love it when you find something a little different in the nest box...whether it's great big like that one (ouch!) or those teeny ones they lay when they first start laying.
Looks good - think I'll have the same tomorrow for breakfast! Wish I had a Golda though - bet it was a really good egg!
