Gloria and Golda were curious...
but they would NOT get their feet in the snow!
The cardinals are abundant,
and the woods are a winter wonderland.
(It looks like I'm not the only creature that has been on this trail!)
But ohhh...if we only had some blue sky...

Can you send one of Pippers' favorite birds this way? We haven't seen many cardinals this year. :-(
Funny-- just today a farmer who has a weekly column in our local paper wrote that he had to spread straw and put the chicken feeders on it because his ladies wouldn't step in the snow.
