Happy Birthday Kim!

Kimberly Ann was born on January 27, 1961.

A happy baby.

1965

Kim was the typical oldest child...obedient, reliable, responsible, high achiever, and bossy!! :-)

First Grade

1975 - Doing knee bends with Wendy.  Dig the groovy sleeping bag.  Is Kim wearing an Elton John T-shirt?

Sewing (1976)

1976 - Lookin' good in gaucho pants and boots!  (I think this was one of Kim's hand-made outfits.)

Could this possibly be the first photo of Kim knitting (1979)?!!!

HAPPY 49th BIRTHDAY, KIM!!

Yes, that is an Elton John t-shirt. And figures I was doing knee bends when my legs were skinny. I had no idea what it meant to have fat legs. Yet.
Yes, I did make the gaucho pants. Loved those gaucho pants. LOVED THEM. I think I made the top, too. And I believe that is a PUCA shell necklace! Also, YOu have captured one of may favorite outfits- the red cowl neck sweater, plaid shirt and denim vest. Somehow, I am feeling like my "style" hasn't really evolved much since then. I am just not that cute anymore. I have lots more smile wrinkles, though! Thanks for the trip down Memory Lane, Bonnie Jo!

I was just coming over to wish Kim a Happy Birthday and see that Bonnie Jo has done an incredible job. What a fun post for someone like me who "knows" Kim without having ever met her.

Don't know that I'd recognize her in Panera's now though. Oh wait...she'd be the one knitting, right?!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KIM! You're a delightful blogger friend!
